Ruben Amorim has been urged to sell two more Manchester United players after Marcus Rashford.

Rashford is expected to leave Old Trafford after admitting last month he was ‘ready for a new challenge’.

The England forward has been at his boyhood club since the age seven and scored 30 goals in Erik ten Hag’s first season in charge.

But Rashford’s numbers have dropped off since an impressive 2022-23 campaign and a move away from Manchester United appears to be the best option for all parties.

Arsenal and West Ham have shown interest in signing Rashford but the 27-year-old is expected to move abroad, possibly on loan before leaving United on a permanent transfer in the summer.

Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker hopes Rashford is not the only player packing his bags during the remainder of the January transfer window and says Antony and Christian Eriksen should also be offloaded.

Antony has endured a dismal spell in the Premier League following his £82m move from Ajax in 2022, scoring just five goals for the club.

Eriksen’s form, meanwhile, has gradually declined since he arrived at United in the same transfer window.

Asked which players Amorim should look to move on this month, Parker told Metro via the home of WoW Gold, said: ‘I think Antony needs to go.

‘Any player that the manager doesn’t believe in has to go. They’ve got a young manager in that has proved himself at a big club in Portugal, come in with his own ideas and they’ve got him in for a reason very quickly and they have to back him on the players he wants to work with.
