Plymouth Argyle star Nikola Katic lost a tooth in the opening stages of his side’s FA Cup clash against Liverpool following a collision with his own teammate.
Play was stopped around the 17th minute mark at Home Park after a nasty incident involving the Bosnia international and teammate Adam Randell.
Blood was seen pouring from his mouth as he received medical treatment on the pitch.
Fortunately, Katic was back on his feet and was able to resume the game shortly after.
The centre-half was immediately back into the thick of it to make an important clearance from a Liverpool cross.
With their man okay, the Plymouth bench didn’t appear too concerned with manager Miron Muslic spotted grinning on the touchline after told his defender would be needing a trip to the dentist in the very near future.
Liverpool, fighting on four fronts for silverware this season, opted to leave some of their star names out of the squad for their trip down south.

Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Alisson and Andy Robertson were among those given the afternoon off with Trent Alexander-Arnold unavailable through injury.
Arne Slot was also forced into a change inside the opening 10 minutes with Joe Gomez going off injured with Isaac Mabaya coming onto replace him.
Plymouth, sat bottom of the Championship 44 places below Premier League leaders Liverpool, more than held their own in the first-half of Sunday’s match, matching Slot’s young side across the park.
